Prius is a non conventional music record label founded
in Buenos Aires in 2008.
Their catalogue displays a constant activity outside the music
industry standards. It implies a unique mode of making music, relating to others, occupying places and spending time, preventing the slow trade of sound work from submitting to the highways of success, not allowing human relations alchemy to be reduced
to a sad theatre of ego.
Prius resumes the map of forgotten paths that crosses genders, periods and borders, to multiply mutant ears over the body.
The entitled "experimental musict" is actually the music that escaped from the normalization of senses. It is the "dub mix" that submerges into the
materiality of sound,
the impossible architectures of rhythm and
the digital spectrum of reverberance,
by turning the voice into an instrument,
hearing the thousand voices
within the electrical signals.


PRIUS es un sello de música no convencional fundado en Buenos Aires en el año 2008. Su catálogo da testimonio de un incesante accionar por fuera de los cánones de la industria discográfica que implica otro modo de hacer música, pero también otro modo de relacionarse, de ocupar los espacios y de pasar el tiempo. No someter el lento oficio del trabajo sonoro a las superautopistas del éxito, ni permitir que las alquimias humanas se reduzcan a un triste teatro del ego.


PRIUS retoma el mapa de los caminos abandonados, ese que cruza géneros, épocas y fronteras para multiplicar los oídos mutantes en el cuerpo. La denominada “música experimental” es en realidad la música que escapó a la estandarización de los sentidos, la “mezcla dub” que elige sumergirse en
la materialidad sonora,
las arquitecturas imposibles del ritmo y
los espectros digitales de la reveberverancia.
Que hace de la voz un instrumento y que escucha miles de voces en las señales eléctricas.
